Final Animation Evaluation

For my final animation I chose to do drawn animation. I chose this type of animation because I found it easier and less tedious that cut-out animation and claymation because with cut-out animation I was really slothful to look for different kinds of magazines and cut out bits and bobs for my animation. Claymation I really didn't enjoy because if the figure of the character isn't made properly, it falls over a good amount of times. Trying to move the figure frame by frame is really tedious too because if it isn't lined up properly it won't really be as smooth as expected. I prefer drawn animation over the other two animations because I am decent at drawing and I have a pretty good imagination. Even though drawing it took up too almost 4 hours, trying to perfect my animation frame by frame, it all paid off in the end.

I made two characters; a little girl and a pillow monster. The pillow monster and the little girl at first did not know each other so they were just going along their business and the little girl saw the monster and thought it was gonna eat her, so she fainted and the monster picked her up and tried to eat her hair but she didn't really taste good so the girl woke up and in the end they became really good friends.

What i'm proud about with my work is that it turned out to be better than I expected and the flow of the animation is really smooth since my work was scanned to Adobe After Effects so I editted most of it there.
What I need to improve next time is the time duration of my animation, I feel as though that my animation is too short and not that colorful.
